Rock Challenge 2011

The Falling Man: 

Our rock challenge was based on a picture of a man falling out of one of the Twin Towers after the disaster of 911 had struck! In the Rock challenge i was smoke. Rock Challenge was amazing, and i think we deserved to get into the top 5, however we came in the bottom 3 due to our lack of money for: set, costume and makeup, hardly fair! The coach journey on the way home was pretty funny with : Lauren Murray, Cherry Turner, George Reed, Lennon Churchill and Nathan Harris constantly teasing me that im not allowed to watch Harry Potter, eggghh! This is probably our last year of ever going to Rock Challenge, because we are no longer a premier school, and Miss.Aimes disagrees with some of the principles of money, as do i. Im still looking to Btec Performing Arts though! Here are some of the pictures, be prepared i look scary :P. x

Alex Williams leavers day

Since Alex is moving to Norfolk, we thought we would have a little get together at Upton Country park to say goodbye. The day was just a typical childish day with my friends:

-Climbing trees

-Chasing each other

-Playing football

-Singing to the guitar (Tom and Ben) 

- Play fighting etc...

After that i realised Raewyn, the pleb, had taken home my phone, so i went on a mission with Connor to go find her house. However we ended up getting lost and having to ask a kind man for directions! Connor bought me a twister ice-cream, om nom...what an amazing best-friend :P <3

When we got picked up by mum, Connor wanted to make a good impression, but ended up talking about tights :P ! hahahaaaa, it was okay though because im pretty sure mum was enjoying talking about tights. 

Examinations...

So far this is how i think my GCSE'S have gone: 

English Language paper 1: Non-fiction media went pretty bad, i didn't get into the flow of writing because i was too stressed and the tweeting birds were distracting me! The persuasive letter went pretty well i thought, because i chose the one about: persuade a friends mum to let them go on holiday with you, and so i just thought of all of the things i would say to my parents to guilt tripping them into letting me go. 

English Language paper 2: Well the poems went average, i did my best but i was a bit rushed for timing! And then inform, explain, describe was an absolute disaster! I have only ever done describe, but the describe question confused me soo much, so i chose inform. I ended up informing the reader how i want to be a dancer and marry a perfect husband (how cheesy!). However apparently a high percentage of the language is the coursework so that will probably bring up my grade, hopefully! 

French Listening: All i can say for this is absolutely horrendous! The first few pages were challenging, but i could deal with them... and then it got to the last page and i wanted to die :L all i could hear was : Bleeeghh bleeghh bleeegghh deprime (depressed) bekjsdfhosifhsfnlvupsdnl.gnlsdvhsd!! so i probably got one mark out of about 10 for understanding one word ahaha ! 

French Reading: This went really well compared to the french listening which wasn't surprising! i've always been better at reading it, because i translate it like a script in my brain, and i can go at my own pace. I rekon i did well enough to get a 'B' overall with my coursework combined :)! (fingers crossed) 

English Literature: The first part of this was the novel: 'To Kill A Mockingbird', i think this went pretty well, but i could have done better! And then there was the poems, this started off okay, and then as time passed i found myself rushing, and i didnt have enough time to include about the poem structure and some of the techniques i wrote about in my introduction. At least i finished i guess! 

PE: Best exam yet! yay, i think i did the best i could, and i definitely did better than the mock, :D i'm sooo happy about this, and i really hope that it reflects in my grade :) 

i shall update when the rest are finished, wish me luck... :s xx

exams... stress...dance...future...bleeghhh!!

Exams in 15 ish days = STREESS!! i'm no where near ready, and this is what i'm hearing from parents and teachers! GCSE's are just needless stress in a teenagers life! as well as that the past two days I've been arguing with the parents about dance and how i'm not at the right standard blleeggh! i'ts nice to know my parents have faith in me... ! on the bright side this week my best-friend Connor bought me a necklace to replace to one i lost from my parents, and a little jewelry box with some chocolate, from Italy! He's the best, best friend in the world, and he really knows how to make things better :) big love for my friendiess  <3 xx

Life's a Beaaacchh!

Basically i went to the beach with Joshua Dolan, Stephen Fytche, Isabella Arentoft, Sophie Sawtell, Chloe Samways, Rob Hodd, Tom Roe and Kian Frend :) i swam in the sea, which was sooooo ccooolld, so to get the coldness over with i just dived in haha. We then played volleyball with the parkstone and poole grammer people, and sucked but it was fun :D such a good day! and i didn't get sunburnt yaay, but my freckles came out :/ I love the beach <3 xx

Last Day With Hettie :(

For the last day with Hettie we went to Bournemouth with Georgia Collins and Eliza Parrett! To start the day we got lost in West-bourne because Georgia was a silly moose and didn't know where to get off the bus to end up in Bournemouth! (to be fair neither did I :P, but i knew it wasn't that stop!) We then had to ask a kind, pretty good looking :P man for directions! It was a 1/2 mile walk, so it wasn't too bad i guess. We then went shopping in all the posh/expensive shops which i can no where near afford, it was nice looking though! Next, it was beach time! I didn't have a bikini, but i just ran in the sea up to my hip and got my dress wet, i don't care because i'm in love with the beach/sea. It has to be one of my favorite places ever, apart from the blue-bell field near my mums work. We took some sea piccies and then headed back to the bus station. There was a big kerfuffle as to where the bus station was, but once we found it we were fine! When we got on the bus there was this old man infront of us and it looked like he was taking pictures of us :s we found it funny at first and started pulling funny faces, however we then got seriously creeped out! After that was the big goodbye, her mum picked us up from Asda, and saw us lying on the floor with our arms up, must have been freaked out haha! When she dropped me home i gave Hettie the biggest hug ever, and once again said bye! Although i will be seeing her on tuesday because she left some stuff at my house mwhaha, the silly moo :P im gunna miss that girly, she was like a sister to me for the last week ! x

GIRLY GIGGLES

Well the title says it all really ! we were meant to be having a normal girly chick flick watching 'The Ugly Truth', however if you put me, Megan, Lauren and Hettie in the same room its not going to end like that! We ended up rolling on the floor in hysterics about pretty much anything, including how we laugh and 'ladder goat'  for a few hours. "Oh you ladder goat, you so random".  We came to the decision that I laugh like a cat and contract into a random position on the floor, Lauren and Hettie start off okay then burst into high pitched squealing. Together we must have sounded like constipated jungle animals. My parents actually allowed them to stay the night which was great, as they would normally say noppee. Megan wouldn't shut up and Hettie got stressed and silenced me at 2 o' clock in the morning! aaaahh .... good times! Now i am currently sitting in my pajamas at 2 o' clock in the afternoon with them sat by my side, after having a  fried breakfast! om nom. I love life + my friends !!!!!!! <3

CHICKEN KIEVES

So after chatting for 4 hours non-stop 'till 2 o'clock in the morning, we woke up today and chatted for another hour about creepy ghost stories! you would think we would run out of things to say... but oooohh noooo ! We then had our scrumptious eggs for brecky this morning again and revised for 3 hours solid... AGAIN! us girls are dedicated, how can old people say about teenagers these days being lazy, coorr! We went to see Craig Ballard at the shop and when we got home we discovered an open door... we automatically assumed that there was somebody in the house, and being a ninja i kicked the door wide open and searched the house like a mad person screaming "I have a black-belt, GET OUT MY HOUSE", while i was doing this Hettie stayed downstairs like a true chicken, we make a great team :P  About to make some cake and biccies for lateerss, the girlies are coming round mine for a film night, this should be fun YAY ! :D x

Day of rest !

So today has consisted of... Hettie Parrett my old next door neighbour/best friend, choking on a piece of cucumber then saying the words: "My life just flashed inbetween my eyes" haha. Jacket Potatoes and falafel for lunch om nom. 3 hours of maths revision!!!! and discovering the photos on facebook from the night before..... kill me ! hahaa.
